Engineering Manager – Electronics & Product Development

At Stiltz, we're looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our talented multidisciplinary engineering team, influence the development of our exciting homelift product range, and play a key role in delivering solutions from concept through to manufacture.

You will have a strong technical understanding with excellent project and people leadership skills across electronics, embedded systems, software, and electromechanical product development.

What you will do:

• Lead research and development projects from concept through to manufacturing handover, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, quality, and business objectives

• Manage and support multidisciplinary engineering teams, creating a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing environment

• Provide technical leadership on electronics-led and electromechanical projects, supporting robust and practical engineering solutions

• Monitor project progress, risks, priorities, and resources to maintain momentum and remove delivery obstacles

• Lead project reviews and communicate progress, risks, and key decisions clearly to stakeholders

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product teams to ensure smooth implementation and product readiness

• Support effective validation, testing, documentation, and engineering change processes to maintain compliance and product quality

• Promote continuous improvement and strong engineering practices across teams

What we are looking for:

• Proven experience in leading engineering or technical product development projects

• Established engineering leadership experience within a multidisciplinary product development environment

• Strong understanding of electronics, electrical systems, embedded systems, or electromechanical products

• Ability to balance technical detail with project-level delivery focus

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacture principles

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance standards

Desirable

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, or similar project management methods
