Looking Back at 2024: A Year of Wellbeing at Stiltz
As we step into 2025, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the strides made in supporting the wellbeing of Stiltz colleagues throughout 2024.
Our Wellbeing Committee worked to foster a culture where everyone felt connected, supported and empowered to be their best self.
At the heart of everything we were able to achieve, was the promotion of physical, mental and emotional health. From awareness days to community events, here’s a look back at some of the initiatives that made 2024 such a meaningful year for Stiltz People:
· Brew Monday - Brought people together over a warm cup of tea (or other hot beverage). It was a chance to get to know colleagues better and start meaningful conversations. Unsurprisingly, our Yorkshire-based office whole-heartedly embraced this campaign!
· Time to Talk Day – Encouragement of open dialogue around Mental Health.
· World Sleep Day - The Stiltz team were offered an opportunity to attend sleep webinars where experts shared tips for better rest and highlight the importance of quality sleep.
· World Health Day - The sharing of information that emphasised the benefits of holistic health practices for better wellbeing.
· Mental Health Awareness Week - Offered activities for the Stiltz teams in the US and UK to get involved in to boost their mental health, plus the sharing of various resources for awareness and to encourage conversations.
· Thank You Day - A celebration of the incredible work of the Stiltz Team across the globe.
· International Dog Day – A hugely popular campaign culminating in a vote which crowned the inaugural Stiltz ‘Dog of the Year’.
· St Jude’s Walk - Based in the US, raised funds and awareness of a great cause close to some of the Stiltz team’s hearts.
· Wear it Pink - A time to show solidarity for Breast Cancer research and awareness.
· World Menopause Day - Provided education and support for what can often be an off-limits subject, giving us the perfect vehicle to launch our own internal Menopause Policy.
· Movember - Encouraged all Stiltz People to take part in awareness and fundraising activities which included 60 for 60 or Growing a Mo, to highlight men’s health and share information.
Each of these initiatives reinforced the Stiltz UK and USA teams’ commitment to supporting one another. Whether we were promoting a wide range of health concerns, raising awareness for national or international wellness campaigns, or simply creating small opportunities to connect with colleagues; 2024 was a year of wellbeing.
