Stiltz Achieves Great Place to Work Certification in the UK and US
We are delighted to announce that Stiltz has achieved Great Place to Work certification in both the UK and the US, recognising the positive workplace culture that has been built across our business.
Great Place to Work is a globally recognised accreditation that assesses employee experience and workplace culture. Certification is based on confidential employee feedback, measuring factors such as trust, fairness, respect, pride and teamwork. To achieve accreditation, organisations must meet rigorous standards and demonstrate that employees consistently have a positive experience at work.
What makes this achievement particularly special is that Stiltz achieved certification in both countries on our very first attempt. Achieving this milestone on the first application reflects the culture we have worked hard to create.
The survey also saw excellent engagement levels, with 82% of employees across the UK and US taking part. High participation rates are often a strong indicator of an engaged workforce and a willingness to help shape the future of the organisation.
The results highlighted many of the qualities that make Stiltz a great place to work. Employees praised the fair treatment of colleagues, the safe working environment and the trust placed in people to do their jobs without unnecessary micromanagement. There was also strong recognition of the pride people feel in our products and the positive impact they have on customers' lives.
Several survey results stood out. An impressive 86% of employees agreed that they can take time off when necessary, while 79% felt that management is competent at running the business. In addition, 74% agreed with the statement ‘taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work‘. This significantly exceeds the average score of 57% achieved by many organisations and places Stiltz close to the benchmark set by the UK’s Top 100 Great Places to Work.
The feedback also reinforced the strong cultural foundations that exist across Stiltz, including fairness, safety, autonomy and a shared sense of purpose. These results are a testament to every member of the Stiltz team and the values we demonstrate every day through collaboration, respect and our commitment to improving customers' lives.
While we are proud of this achievement, we know there is always more to do. Great Place to Work Certification recognises where we are today and provides a strong foundation as we continue to listen, learn and make Stiltz an even better place to work in the future.
