Your future starts now: we've opened our pension to under-22s
Most people don't have pensions on their radar when they start their first job. Stiltz would like to change that as it’s never too early to start saving for the future. So, we've decided to make it easier for our youngest team members to begin investing for their retirement, even if it might seem a very long time away.
What's changing?
Pension auto-enrolment in the workplace usually starts at age 22. Since 1st October 2025, any employee who joins Stiltz aged 21 or under can choose to join our company pension scheme straight away.
No waiting or catching up later.
Why start early?
When you're just starting out in the workplace, retirement can feel like a literal lifetime away. But that's exactly what makes now the best time to begin saving into a pension. The earlier you start, the longer your money has to grow, and the more you’ll have available to you to ensure a comfortable older age.
Small amounts, big difference
We completely get thinking forward forty or fifty years into the future is quite difficult. That’s why you don't need to put away a lot. Even small contributions now will build up over time, especially with matched employer contributions and long-term investment growth working in your favour.
Your future self will be glad you did.
Looking after you, long after payday
We've always believed a good job should support you well beyond your next payslip. Opening our pension scheme earlier is one more way we're backing Stiltz People, at whatever stage they are in their career.
